LaunchKC Names Aware Vehicles As Finalist During Techweek in Kansas City

LaunchKC has whittled down a big pack of contenders for its global grants competition to 20 finalists, and 13 startups hail from the Kansas City metro.
The finalists, which were selected from 400 applicants in 19 states and five nations, will have a chance to compete for nine grants totaling $500,000 during Techweek Kansas City in September. Winners will be announced Sept. 15. In addition to cash grants, the winners will receive a year of free office space in downtown Kanas City, industry-specific mentor teams and opportunities to network.
LaunchKC is an initiative of the Downtown Council of Kansas City and the Economic Development Corporation of Kansas City and aims to attract tech entrepreneurs to Kansas City to grow their business.
